One Sip at a Time: My Journey into the Wine Industry

When I took my first sip of Arbor Mist Blackberry Wine in college, I didn’t realize it would be the beginning of a lifelong journey. Over time, wine became more than a drink—it became a part of my self-care routine and a way to connect with others. Eventually, it transformed into something even bigger: HER Wine, a brand created to celebrate women’s resilience, grace, and ever-evolving spirit.

I founded HER Wine because I couldn’t find a wine that resonated with my experience or the women around me. Whether you’re a professional climbing the corporate ladder, a mom giving it her all, or someone chasing big dreams, you deserve a wine that reflects who you are.

But here’s the thing: launching a wine brand doesn’t have to mean owning a vineyard. Through creative paths like private labeling, custom crush facilities, and strategic branding, I learned how to bring HER Wine to life without the hefty costs of a winery.

Today, HER Wine is proudly featured in over 20 Metro Atlanta locations, expanding nationwide, and is a testament to what’s possible when passion meets determination.

My Biggest Lessons:

  1. You Don’t Need a Winery: Options like shiners and custom crush make starting your brand accessible and cost-effective.

  2. Your Brand is Your Story: Wine is an experience. Build a brand that resonates with your audience on an emotional level.

  3. The Power of Compliance: Navigating licensing and legal requirements is key to avoiding delays and staying on track.

If you’ve ever dreamed of building your own wine label, my journey proves it’s possible. That’s why I created the eBook, "One Sip at a Time: Your How-To Guide to Building Your Own Wine Brand Without Owning a Winery," to give you the tools you need to get started.

But if you’re ready to skip the guesswork and work directly with an experienced team, our Private Label Program might be the perfect next step. We’ll help you craft a wine that reflects your vision—from sourcing and production to branding and marketing.
